Gushwork Case Studies

Gushwork needed trust-building content for an audience that was curious about leads, not excited about abstract AI. The job was to make the product feel useful, specific, and credible without sanding off the actual customer story.

01

How I did it

I started with the customer, not the feature list. I ran interviews, pulled out the business problem, and looked for the part of the story a skeptical buyer would actually believe.

Then I turned each story into a clear case study: context, pain, what changed, and why the result mattered. No mysterious transformation language. Just the useful parts, written cleanly.

I also worked on homepage messaging, website copy, SEO content, automated email journeys, and dashboards, so AI felt less like a shiny object and more like a practical way to get leads.

02

The reasons behind it

The audience was not looking for a lecture on AI. They needed proof that the system could understand their category and get them closer to customers.

Case studies made sense because they let another customer do some of the convincing. For a new category, that kind of borrowed trust matters.

The writing had to sound business-useful, not startup-loud, because the buyers were older, practical, and allergic to vague hype.

03

The outcome

20+ industry-specific case studies shipped from ideation to publication.

Brand stories and case studies contributed to an 8% visitor-to-lead conversion rate.

Email campaigns contributed around 40% of total inbound leads, and organic traffic increased by 35%.

The content gave sales and marketing a sharper proof library to use when explaining the platform.

The messaging moved away from AI fog and toward clearer business outcomes.

04

How I managed it all

I handled the moving parts across interviews, notes, drafts, edits, approvals, and publishing.

I kept a repeatable structure so every story felt consistent, while still leaving room for the specific customer problem.

I tracked what each case study and content surface needed next: customer inputs, quotes, edits, SEO context, dashboard reads, design handoff, or final approval. Boring spreadsheet work. Extremely necessary.

Same board, different mess.
